Alfrea is a new social sharing technology platform transforming the relationship people have to fresh grown food. The sharing economy meets farm and gardening. What Airbnb did for the bedroom we intend to do for the backyard and farmyard and what Uber did for ride sharing we intend to do for farm and garden service.

About the role and you:

While this is an entry level position, the ideal candidate will have experience and /or coursework in digital marketing and social media marketing. The role will be responsible for engaging with or supporting engaging with people, teams, and corporations that have stake in a sustainable planet and healthy people.

Alfrea is one of those unique opportunities to build a highly scalable business which could produce huge rewards for the team and society if we as a team can scale it to reach its potential. We are in the process of raising seed funding and have demonstrated traction with market influencers.

About the position:

Marketing (Anticipated to be about 50% of the role)

  • The marketing associate will be responsible for our digital marketing and social media platforms
  • Inbound and outbound marketing
  • Content delivery (other team members and advocates will help generate content)
  • Event marketing
  • Customer research
  • Support on brand building
  • Customer Engagement & Experience (25%)

  • The candidate will help Alfrea build strategic partnerships and attend events
  • Supporting customers on usage and engagement on Alfrea
  • As Alfrea grows person may be on-call along with other team members for customer telephone support outside of normal business hours.
  • General Business Support (25%)

  • Alfrea is a small business, and the role is likely to be involved in numerous business activities not neatly defined in just one business function. This may include support of financial activities, general research, HR support, tech support etc.
  • Occasional business travel may be required.
