The Morris County Park Commission's Community Garden was established in1978. There are 113 10 x 20' plots, both year round and seasonal. One of the garden plots is dedicated to growing food for the local food pantry, tended and delivered by community garden volunteers.
Serviced provided include water, mulch and compost as well as a part time coordinator and maintenance staff. We have monthly meetings with speakers on various gardening topics as well as a year end harvest pot luck luncheon. Location has a well house/shed, running water and port-o-potty.
